Manoharan Ramnad hails from Ramnad i.e. Ramanathapuram, a town in southern Tamil Nadu. He worked as Joint Director in The Local Fund Audit Department of Tamil Nadu State Government and is now living in Chennai after he retired in 2013. He has written five novels in Tamil and one in English.
