Understanding Bodo Movement: with Special Reference to the Role of ABSU over 50 years struggle(1967-2018) mainly deals with the understanding of the Bodo movement through the perspective of the All Bodo Students Union and its participation in the movement since its formation in 1967 till 2018. The ABSU is a students union; a non-profit organization formed in 1967 for the welfare of the Bodo peoples and other tribal peoples. The Bodo movement has now become 50 years under the leadership of the All Bodo Students Union. This organization has been playing a very dominant role since its formation for the creation of seperate autonomous region. So, the title of this book is about the Bodo movement with special reference to the role played by ABSU over the period of 50 years.

AUTHOR INFORMATION

JAPUNGSAR BASUMATARY was born in 1994, in the district of Kokrajhar, BTAD, Assam India. He completed his Master of Arts (MA) in 2018 from Sikkim University in the Department of International Relations and joined M.Phil programme in 2018 at the Center for Security Studies (School of National Security Studies) in Central University of Gujarat. He is interested in writing, reading particularly in the academic category. This is the first book written by him, apart from that he has written some articles which have been published in the International Journal of Research and Analytical Review and in the International Journal of Research in Engineering, Science and Management.
