Dr. Bijoy Chandra Ghosh: Professor Bijoy Chandra Ghosh is a retired professor from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur with a long carrier of research in the academic field of agriculture. His research has enormously to the current understanding of organic farming and organic food production. He has especially focused on the negative effect of chemical farming on soil health. The principle of organic farming and its adaption by farming community are well documented. In his credit a large number of research paper (185 nos.) have been published in both national and international journals and has supervised 18 Ph.D. students. He has developed a large number of entrepreneurs in the area of compassing and vermicomposting business. His contribution on other area are Tea cultivation and tea processing machinery development, Rooftop gardening technique and crop diversification have had inputs in the world agriculture. He have visited many countries and shared his knowledge and expertise in the field of agriculture.
Dr. Sourendra Nath Das: Dr. Sourcndranath Das was born in 1973 in Bhola village of so called Singur police station in Hooghly district. After completing his secondary in 1989 and higher secondary in 1991 from Mahamaya High School, he successfully completed his BSc Agriculture from Bidhanchandra Krishi Viswa-vidyalaya ( BCK.V) in 1995. In 1998, he successfully completed his Master in Agriculture from the same university. He was awarded PhD in Entomology degrees 2003 from the same University.During 2003-2006 he was engaged in Vivekananda Institute of Biotechnology, Nimpith and started working in various positions in Pesticide Company. He started his carrier from 2007, as Senior Lecture in Agricultural Training Centre, Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Narendrapur, which is also the State Agricultural Management and Extension Training Institute (SAMETI). At present he is involved in Agricultural Education, Extension and Research. He is also a regular speaker in All India Radio, Maitri, Kokata. Various research papers written by him on organic and herbal pesticides have been published in domestic and foreign journals. He was awarded for his best research work and extension scientist various seminars.
