The poet was born on 7th February 1986 in the city of Coochbehar, West Bengal. After doing her M.Sc in Zoology from North Bengal University, she chose teaching as her profession.
From her young age, she loved nature and literature. She thinks that nature, science and literature are all different forms of the same base. Short stories and poems have been created from this love. This is the poet's first collection of poems. She is also a regular contributor to various journals and web magazines.
